This orthodox black tea hails from the Chota Tingrai Estate in partnership with Mana Organics. The state of Assam in northeastern India. Assam produces exceptionally malty, smooth black tea, with little astringency. It is a fantastic example of an Assam tea. As an ideal breakfast tea, it can be enjoyed with or without milk and sweetener. Though the leaves are a broken grade (GBOP, or Golden Broken Orange Pekoe), its flavor is rich and full without bitterness. This tea is Certified Organic.
Water: 200˚F / Boiling / Leaves: 1-1.5 teaspoon per 8 ounces / Infusion Time: 3–4 minutes
