Just like Rooibos, Honeybush was discovered in South Africa in the 18th century. It gets its name from its appearance, honeybush has bright yellow flowers and smells like honey. The leaves are slightly rougher than those of Rooibos but it still holds a strong sweet and aromatic taste.
How to brew the perfect cup:
Water: 212°F / Leaves: 1-1.5 teaspoon per 8 ounces / Infusion Time: 5–7 minutes
Very smooth. You can mix with Red Roobis and or Tumeric Ginger. Delicious!
